When you have friends and family over, everyone ends up in the kitchen, right? The kitchen is the new living room. It is the gathering space of all gathering spaces! The chef is hard at work, refreshment is flowing, conversation is nonstop- you are in your happy place. Or maybe not? Many of our clients love to cook but don’t have a kitchen that inspires them to do so. It is time to fall in love with your kitchen!
Many clients come to brooksBerry to discuss a kitchen renovation that will allow them to reclaim a space they long to love. Loving your kitchen is more than appreciating the shiny finishes, fresh paint on the wall or new appliances. Truly loving your kitchen means that you have functional tools in a well-planned space that consistently inspires you to host, cook and relax with the people you love, for the people you love. Even better, you may discover that you actually enjoy cooking after avoiding it in your previously uninspiring kitchen.
Our owners, Andy and Elizabeth are in the middle of operation love your kitchen in their own home. The walls recently went from green to fresh white… they are already more at home, but there is a long way to go. Elizabeth is tired of the clutter on the countertops and Andy is anxious to have seating in the kitchen. With the addition of a bar seating area with a drawer stack and pullout trash, open shelving and finally a locker with a bench seat for shoes, the finished product should be a comfortable, full-service space that the whole family can use and love. We are shopping for cabinets, countertops and accessories from our wonderful suppliers and hope to be back in love with our space by the new year!
Does reclaiming your kitchen mean adding an island for more storage and countertop space? Perhaps it means that you start from scratch and redesign the layout to maximize use of space with a smarter kitchen plan. More simply, it could mean refreshing the cabinet doors and pulls, backsplash and countertops. Whatever you choose to do, we welcome the challenge your space brings, as we want to help you fall in love with your kitchen again. We want to work with you to create a living space that is ripe for spending quality time, flowing creativity and preparing delicious meals.
